Working under the pseudonym ‘halts’, his work consists mainly of layering shapes and finding spatial relationships that will work in unity to make up the intended form.
It is a type of art that reveals as much about the current human condition as it does about the state of a current artist. Geographically speaking, Shane’s art is all over the map, from New York to Ghana. It can be seen on a person’s head, in wearable art form, or in a gallery. His work is always one of a kind, which keeps it rare and is part of an undercurrent of multi-faceted contemporary artists. Shane also loves the Earth, which has led to sustainable projects such as the ‘halts’ Recycled Wearable Art Project, which takes vintage clothing and breathes new life into it with his one of a kind, hand-painted designs.
