Dave Bunn working under the real name FabriCat for all of his fabric designs. Dave's artwork always comes from the heart and sometimes develops as it happens. Drawing influences from both historical and contemporary culture and using the visual word as a dictionary to evoke feelings which can be placed on canvas. The vocabulary in his work often transcends gender and age as Dave believes symbolism has a unique meaning to the viewer.
Trained in Fine Art specialising in screen printing which was a medium that suited his style. Dave has a love for colours and bright work, but sometimes needing a refuge from it, he undertakes graphite works and tries to dilute the distinction between photorealism and sketches. He also advises on internet forums of drawing techniques.

Dave is currently working in the middle of England with a spotty sidekick Bengal cat Valentino as company. When not doing anything arty he is normally falling off his mountain bike, playing Nintendo or pretending to be asleep.
