Rob was raised in Hackney, and it was there his infatuation for art grew. Since then he has moved to Winchester but was able to gain many insightful experiences from living in London.
Armed with an intuitive mind and an eagerness to be heard Rob produces an expansive range of provocative and conscientious pieces.
These vary from quirky illustrations and drawings, produced under the alias Dexter, to hard hitting and gritty pieces, with everything in between.
Rob takes inspiration from contemporary matters and voices his personal judgement on them in a unique and complex way. He himself knows there is much space for development but this will come with time.

Symbolife met Rob at Bloom Festival 2008 doodling on a piece of paper in our marquee. After watching this young man working for a while our buyer approached to see what he was creating.
Blown away by his ‘doodle' Rob was invited to join our Symbolife Talent page.
Rob asked our buyer to name the piece above and it was kept, photographed and is now being displayed here, aptly named 'The Morning After'. Rob is accompanying Symbolife on their 2009 festival tour, ask him nicely and he may just do a doodle for you*
